Fished in Italian seas, this typically Mediterranean species is the most appreciated for the preparation of sauces and\u00a0risottos\u00a0with a delicate but tasty personality.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"row-fluid\">\n<div class=\"span12 ricetta_preparazione\">\n<h2><\/h2>\n<h2>INGREDIENTS FOR\u00a04 PEOPLE<\/h2>\n<p>1 jar of\u00a0unshelled clams in brine<br \/>\n1\u00a0jar of shelled clams in brine<br \/>\n150 g\u00a0of Fregola Sarda Pasta<br \/>\n\u00bd\u00a0onion<br \/>\n4\u00a0sun-dried tomates<br \/>\n2\u00a0garlic cloves<br \/>\n200g\u00a0of cherry tomatoes<br \/>\n1\u00a0chili pepper<br \/>\nVegetable broth<br \/>\nParsley<br \/>\nExtra virgin olive oil, Salt<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div id=\"box-video\" class=\"row-fluid\">\n<div class=\"span12 ricetta_preparazione\">\n<h2>PREPARATION<\/h2>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Chop up the sun-dried tomatoes. Separately chop up the onion. Then finely chop up 1 garlic clove with a bit of parsley. Wash and cut the cherry tomatoes in halves. Heat 4 spoons of olive oil in a non-stick pan. Saut\u00e9 the onion with the sun-dried tomatoes and a whole garlic clove. After 5 minutes add the cherry tomatoes and then the fregola pasta.\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"s1\">Delicately stir the mix for a couple minutes, and as it dries, add the water from the jar in which the clams were preserved. Then continue cooking by slowly adding the vegetable broth, little by little, as for the making of a risotto. After 15 minutes of cooking, making sure the fregola is still \u201cal dente\u201d (not overcooked) and that there is enough broth, adjust with salt and add the chopped garlic and parsley. Also add the fresh chili pepper in small pieces.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Remove from the stove and add some shelled clams on top of the fregola.
