Delicius supports “Salute in Comune” to promote prevention and wellbeing

Delicius believes wellbeing begins with informed choices, both at the table and in everyday life. That belief also guides the company’s mission to promote a healthy and responsible lifestyle.

As a Benefit Company, Delicius focuses on people and local communities, alongside its commitment to the environment and product quality.

That’s why Delicius is once again proud to support “Salute in Comune”, the project that brings mobile clinics offering free breast health, cardiology and diagnostic check-ups directly into local communities. The company supported the initiative with conviction last year and today feels even more closely aligned with its values, projects and approach to business.

Free health checks in Torrile on 27 September

On Saturday 27 September, from 9.30am, the square in front of Torrile Town Hall near Parma will host the “Salute in Comune” mobile clinics. Residents will be able to access free health checks carried out by a specialist medical team, helping raise awareness of the importance of early diagnosis and healthy lifestyles.

Doctors will provide:

  • free breast examinations and diagnostic tests for women aged between 20 and 44, age groups not yet covered by Italy’s National Health Service screening programmes, with the aim of identifying possible breast cancer-related conditions at an early stage
  • cardiology and cardiovascular examinations for the whole family, including assessments for possible ongoing cardiac inflammation (myocarditis), a condition that has increased significantly in recent years and is often linked to cases of sudden illness reported in the news

On the morning of 27 September, Delicius will also attend the event as a supporter of the project to receive a commemorative plaque. Anyone wishing to join will be welcome and can take the opportunity to look after their health at the same time.

A commitment aligned with our mission

The project naturally connects with the Longevity Nutrition Program, developed with the scientific support of INRC (the Italian National Institute for Cardiovascular Research), which is currently being rolled out in stores. The Longevity project promotes a balanced diet rich in Omega-3 from oily fish and essential nutrients as part of a broader approach to prevention through nutrition and long-term wellbeing.

An invitation to take part and prioritise prevention

Delicius invites all collaborators, partners and friends to take part in the event on 27 September in Torrile and use the opportunity to take a proactive approach to prevention.

Choosing prevention means investing in time and quality of life. Together, we can help spread this message of health, longevity and wellbeing throughout the community.
