The sea as a resource, source of growth, responsibilty and the future

The fifth edition of Be Blue, held at the Leonardo da Vinci National Museum of Science and Technology in Milan, explored the value of the sea as an economic, environmental and social resource, bringing together voices from business, research, finance and retail.

The discussion focused on the role of the sea in the challenges of innovation, sustainability and consumer behaviour. Representatives from One Ocean Foundation, DWS – Deutsche Bank Italia, the University of Parma and NielsenIQ joined leading retailers, including Gruppo Selex, Gruppo VéGé and CRAI, to reflect on the role of the sea on supermarket shelves and on the future of food supply chains. The conversation also highlighted the sea as a source of biodiversity and knowledge, one that continues to offer new perspectives for the future of our planet.
